CERTIFIED SAFE TRAVELER INTENT AND DISCLAIMER

The Certified Safe Travel Program is an online certificate program offered by CST Training, LLC, organized on a pass (satisfactory—completion of all requirements) / no pass (unsatisfactory) basis, providing training on the fundamentals of overseas travel for a diverse group of current or prospective travelers with limited formal training or experience in the overseas environment. All travelers should engage in ongoing research and study prior to their trip as appropriate for the specific location of travel.

This certification program is intended for individuals to become familiar with a broad range of issues relevant to overseas travel. The training material and testing requirement was developed for travelers to help raise their skill level and awareness prior to any planned overseas trips. Additionally, this training material has proved helpful to professionals who need to refresh their knowledge or who wish to broaden skills. This certification does not confer or imply the acquisition of self-defense training or expertise of local laws and customs overseas. Travelers must follow the official guidelines as set forth by their government and other professional organizations. Certified status is only an indicator that an individual has successfully completed a combination of defined on line training and examination requirements. CST Training, LLC does not and cannot certify that successfully completing the training will make you safe or free of incident in your travels or otherwise. Safety has many unforeseen and uncontrollable variables in any specific situation, making it impossible to guarantee or warrant any particular outcome that avoids all potential harm under any circumstances. Certification also is not a guarantee or assurance of the competence or ability of any particular individual. Further, given the rapid changes in the overseas environment, CST Training, LLC, cannot warrant that the examination and other certification materials will, at all times, reflect the most current overseas environment. Anyone taking the training or otherwise using the services of a person who has been certified should rely on his or her own independent judgment or, as appropriate, seek the advice of a competent professional in regarding any aspect of overseas travel.

YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT USE OF AND RELIANCE ON THE ONLINE TRAINING (“SERVICES”) IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND THAT THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO SATISFACTORY QUALITY, PERFORMANCE, ACCURACY AND EFFORT IS WITH YOU. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, AND CST TRAINING, LLC HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICES, EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND/OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS. 

TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CST TRAINING LLC BE LIABLE FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES OR LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, HOWEVER CAUSED, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF THE CST TRAINING LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
